LA GIARUGOLA
VERONA ROSE
OUR VERONA ROSE

“La Giarugola” is a dialect word meaning “clayey-limestone soil”.
It is produced from an old Veronese pergola located near Postuman in an orchard (“vineyard enclosed by a dry stone wall”) at about 400 meters above sea level.
In ancient times, the broli were built because they allowed the Catholic Church to be exempt from paying the tithe (“the tenth part of the harvest”). The grapes present in the vineyard are: Corvina, Corvinone and Rondinella.
LA GIARUGOLA ROSATO is produced according to the rules of natural wines and is a certified BIO product.

Fermentation takes place with indigenous yeasts using the pied de cuve technique.
The pale pink color is due to a slight maceration of the must in contact with the must. The pumping over and batonage serve to create macro compounds that translate into elegant and floral olfactory scents accompanied by light fruity notes of raspberry on the palate. The result is an elegant mineral wine that is fresh and fragrant.

Let yourself be conquered by the elegance of La Giarugola, a wine that will satisfy even the most demanding palates.
